Tom Magness joined TorcSill in March of 2018 after four years as the Safety and DOT Manager specializing in Safety Assessments for commercial contractors.
Magness also served at Flint Energy as a General Safety Manager for over 15 years. During his successful tenure at Flint Energy, headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he implemented the Operator Qualification Program, Trending Analysis Protocols, Attest Audit Program and the Leadership for Safety Excellence Program, all of which resulted in reducing accident incidents by 40 percent.
Magness holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Oklahoma Wesleyan College and a M.L.S. from the University of Okla. and is certified as a Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) and a Registered Environmental Manager (REM). He has been active in several professional affiliations, including the American Society of Safety Engineers, American Safety Council, the Green leaf Center for Servant Leadership and the National Center for Construction Education and Research.
